By the time I reached Honolulu, I was mentally tired of traveling and all I wanted to do was rest and relax all day. Did not do much as a tourist, but lived like a local. Spent a week each at a local/university neighbourhood AirBnB apartment, AirBnB penthouse in Waikiki, and friend's mansion.
Had an amazing experience especially Honolulu reminds me of Singapore in the 1980s-90s. On one hand, I am ready to go home. On the other hand, Honolulu felt like home. Now that I am back to Singapore and settling down. This trip felt surreal - the last 6 months felt like a dream came true.
